Homecoming Celebrations
Home, the work day is over. It is just us. Let’s create a Home Coming celebration! A celebration designed to connect, relax and enjoy! First, change from your work duty clothes into something soft, light, an afternoon outfit! Splash on some light body spray, something with a hint of vanilla, perhaps lemon. Slip on some long dangly earrings! Better already, feel the stress leave! Remember, today is a celebrations day, so no stopping to do chores!
Choose your beverages! Perhaps some home brewed mint tea, an iced latte, a sparkly wine cooler:
Make a pitcher of Lemonade
Select a bottle of white sparkling wine or champagne ( it is a celebration after all!) I choose a bottle of Sparkling Moscato Lounge, icy cold from the refridge
Gather together two large wine glasses, fill with ice
Place everything on a tray
Together, stroll out to the Hammock Garden. Pour the sparkly wine over ice, almost to the top, splash in the lemonade. A toast to each other!
Sit together in the hammock, face each other or cuddle side by side!
Conversations today are about dreams for travel! There are no restrictions here, we are talking dreams. Dream on…dream big…dream together…
Summer on the Deck
Summer afternoons! The best time to enjoy your day. Your daily round is done, mostly, and now the time is yours. Let’s enjoy a quick cocktail sipped in beautiful glasses on the deck.
Today it is Rangpur Minties!
Rangpur, you say? Yes, Tanqueray’s distilled Gin made with rangpur limes and other botanicals- smooth limey goodness! Feel free to use a golden, smooth tequila in place of the gin on another day!
Shiny juicy limes
Fresh mint
Delicious Rangpur Gin
Sugar or natural sugar substitute
Club Soda
Mottle the fresh mint and sugar until well smashed- breathe in the fresh minty aroma, place in a beautiful glass.
Squeeze a juicy lime into each glass!
Place tinkling ice cubes to the top of the glass, add Rangpur Gin ( 1 1/2 ounces), top with club soda. Add a beautiful glass swizzle stick to twirl around as you sip.
Out to the deck, play some soft salsa music, a quick toast! Enjoy!
