Simple Day

Adventure, thrills, mysterious places, all of this calls to me…yet…I don’t answer. My daily round of work and home-care, pets and family keep me from wild adventure.
As an educator, my work is done during the school year. Why yes, I have several built in vacations, more than most other work. Yet, I find that I do not leave for adventure during the school year. You too? Ah…well, I understand.
My husband, Bobby, is retired and is at the ready to go. He wants to be out and about. But not alone, with me, us.
Do we need to put our yearning to adventure forth on hold? Perhaps the big adventures do. So, let us just Go Forth and find enjoyment near. Far will have to wait.
Something about a new year. Makes you want to re-do. Re-do it all. You look around and see a tired house, a tired job, tired clothes and a tired you. You are just tired of it all. That glowing New Year feeling doesn’t stand a chance and may seem almost impossible with all this “tired” going on.
We all want to know “how” to make our new year new. True grit, powering through, imposed will, sheer determination, I’ve tried them all too, with varying success. Then I found a kinda secret, a secret that has made a difference in my quest for my new lifestyle. Yes, a secret!
I know!
